I thought this was an ehhhhhh one. A blahhhhh one. A so-obviously-was-originally-a-play-in-a-bad-way one.

The Petrified Forest (1936) starring Bette Davis, Humphrey Bogart & Leslie Howard. Leslie's Howard's character is insufferable. I like unlikable characters, but this is just a whole different issue. He's just annoying. Absurd. Following a completely unbelievable character arc (the writer's fault, but part of it is Leslie Howard himself). Bette Davis is a delight as always though. & hey Humphrey - welcome to the movies.

Humphrey Bogart and Lauren Bacall grace the screen in this classic 1947 thriller about a convict who escapes from San Quentin to hunt down his wife's true killer. To complete his mission, he must escape detection by the cops. So he undergoes plastic surgery and hides out in the home of a mysterious woman (Bacall) he's just met. The film uses a first-person point of view in its camera work, to put viewers into the shoes of the accused man

Recommended (especially because of the first-person p.o.v. section). 

If you watch it, please pay attention to Lauren Bacall's nose.... it moves around ALL THE TIME. Like she's in I Dream of Jeannie.
