An ex-boyfriend once barfed in my handbag. Thankfully it was only a cheap tote from H&M so I just threw it away, but still. It also ruined a wallet, umbrella and a caricature drawing of my friend and I that we'd just had done at a spring fling sort of event. After he puked in the bag, he proceeded to puke in my desk drawer. I remember washing it out with Herbal Essences shampoo that I stole from another girl who lived in my suite. Such a pleasant time. Waking up in bed... seeing your boyfriend holding your tote bag beneath his vomiting mouth and using it as a puke receptacle .

Attachments by Rainbow Rowell (thus finishing all her available books - now I have to impatiently wait around for Landline to be released) / The Woman Upstairs by Claire Messud / The Goldfinch by Donna Tartt / Unwanted by Kristina Ohlsson / Red Dragon by Thomas Harris (in spite of the fact that The Silence of the Lambs is one of my favorite movies ever, I'd never read the books - watching and loving Hannibal (the show) finally made me buy the book series. I love murdery books [and completely ruining my peace of mind and mental health forever more].)
This is one of the first monthly book posts without a children's book in the "books I read" section - I read two but despised them both. Off to Goodwill they went.
