Today's movie - Alice Doesn't Live Here Anymore starring Ellen Burstyn and Kris Kristofferson, directed by Martin Scorsese (1974).
I liked it quite a bit - particularly the relationship between Alice and her son.
Alice Doesn't Live Here Anymore is a 1974 American comedy-drama film directed by Martin Scorsese and written by Robert Getchell. It stars Ellen Burstyn as a widow who travels with her preteen son across the Southwestern United States in search of a better life, along with Alfred Lutter as her son and Kris Kristofferson as a man they meet along the way.
The son kept reminding me of Sponge from Salute Your Shorts.
IMPORTANT NOTE - Salute Your Shorts is available to watch on Amazon.
So when Harvey Keitel first shows up, I think that he's actually playing a nice character. A kind character. "This is a first," I say to myself.
But I was wrong. Not so nice! Typical.
I hope that this restaurant still exists so that I will be able to find it and eat at it. Stay tuned for the future instagram.
