A lot of people hate on the color purple. So many people that I often find myself feeling bad for the color.... even sticking up for it.
As though the color purple could POSSIBLY have feelings.
Maybe it does.
Maybe someday an enormous violet version of the smoke monster from Lost will come barreling through my bedroom window while I'm trying to fall asleep and thank me for sticking up for it. That would be terrifying yet satisfying.
I went off on a purple tangent because the new collection from Darling Clementine includes a lot of goods with my favorite shade of purple. I'm happy. I'm sure all you purple haters won't be, but keep quiet about it or that purple monster may attack you and leave you with lavender tinted skin forever more.
